A Mega Technical Project Expo with 700 projects done by students of all branches has been organized at Vasireddy Venkatadri Institute of Technology, Nambur, today 06-03-2020, with all elegance and innovations, as informed by Sri Vasireddy Vidya Sagar, Chairman of VIVA-VVIT Institutions. The Project Expo aimed at encouraging every student of the Institute to involve, innovate and be an instrument in doing the projects. Sri Sagar in this regard said that this kind of Project expositions will unleash the talents of all engineering students and urged everyone to think out of the box to achieve greatness in innovation.
Guntur ITC Technical Manager Sri K.N.Rao visited this Grand Technical Project Expo of VVIT and commended the efforts of students after inspecting all the projects.
Students of Computer Science and Engineering demonstrated the latest technology embedded “Food Tracking App” which will track the food wastage in various events and helps facilitate it to the poor. Information Technology students presented Aadhaar Based Online Voting System project which won several prizes in Google, ACM based competitions across India. Electronics and Communications Engineering students presented a project to reduce the accidents at unmanned railway gates by equipping the gate with Automation. Electrical and Electronics Engineering students devised an automated system for plant watering especially useful in organic farming, which used sensors to identify the humidity in plants. Mechanical Engineering students presented several Go-Carting projects that are cost-effective, fuel-efficient. Civil Engineering students presented several Green Building Projects of defacto standards in the Industry.
Dr. Y.Mallikarjuna Reddy, Principal, VVIT in his regard addressed that students about the importance of inventions and discoveries and about their creativity. Dr.Giribabu Kande, Principal in-charge informed that this Mega Technical Project Expo aimed at involving every student to inculcate project doing skills, Communication skills and how to instill their innovation abilities with latest technology for the betterment of life in the society.
