Vasireddy Venkatadri Institute of Technology celebrated its 10th Annual day on 23rd December 2017 at its serene campus amidst all students, alumni and parents and faculty in an esteemed manner with all ecstasy in Nambur.
On this occasion, Chairman Sri Vasireddy Vidya Sagar wished all the students to reach global heights with all determination to fulfill the dreams of their parents. He expressed his deepest sense of gratitude to all the parents for keeping faith in this institute. He also emphasized that any policy taken in this institute is always for the benefit of the students whatever expensive and harder they may be in implementation. He also congratulated the winners of several intramural contests conducted earlier.Sri Bobby, Film director (Jai Lav Kusa fame) adorned the Annual day as a Chief Guest, distributed prizes to all the winners in intramural competitions and Academic toppers. Sri Bobby said students student-life is an memorable one and one should utilize it properly. He said parents are having so many aspirations on their wards and students must strive hard to make them happy.
Earlier in the day, alumni meet was organized by the alumni association of VVIT for their old students to meet and recollect their golden past days of engineering. Principal Dr. Y. Mallikarjuna Reddy on this occasion inspired the alumni with recent developments of their institute and advised them to be in regular contact with institute and their juniors for a maintaining a comprehensive and constructive network among them. Professor N. Kumara Swamy, Dean of Academics, VVIT elated the spirits of alumni and emphasized the importance of their message to the current batches of students, over the faculty. On the same day evening, Principal of the institute, while presenting the annual report of the college, stated that the college became competent with the top ranked colleges in JNTU Kakinada region within a short span of time from its inception, under the continuous support of management, dedication & devotion of faculty, determination of students and the belief of their parents in all attempts to make it so. All Students of this institution along with their Parents, members of the management, teaching and non-teaching faculty participated in this annual day celebrations.
